| And the chicken and the lamb and all of the other supplies that has been sent out to the various checkpoints in advance of Iditarod 2008. Team mascot Scarlet keeps a close eye on the food. I wonder if someone is watching her to make sure she doesn`t have a snack?

| The bags are now ready! Fellow musher Matt Calore transported the bags the 100 miles from Talkeetna to Anchorage so members of the Iditarod Air Force could deliver them to the various checkpoints.

| Over 2000 pounds of meat was cut and wrapped by Allen Werenburg of Talkeetna, AK to make ready for the bags. You can see how the bags are laid out in checkpoint to checkpoint order. The cabin you see in the backgound is where Heather lives.
