| Heather and the Hardcore Team begin their journey to Nome at the cerimonial start in downtown Anchorage on Saturday, March 1st. Here the team approaches the starting line for their trip down 4th Ave on the first leg of the race on their way to Campbell Airstrip Road, about 11 miles north of Anchorage.
