| Heather sorts through her gear shortly arriving at the checkpoint in Ophir on Friday, March 7th just before 9 PM AKST. The photo was taken by Bruce Malard, formerly of Bismarck now living in Anchorage, who was one of the volunteers at the checkpoint. Malard said "She seemed in good spirts and her dogs looked good."

| Heather and the Hardcore team are receiving support from around the world! Here`s a sign of support on display at the Tanglefoot Racing Headquarters in the UK. Tanglefoot lead dog Lolly seems a bit disinterested but lovable with her partner Kirra peaking out from behind.
