Dogs are my Spirit Guides, Without them I wouldn't be here, where I am today. I watch them gracefully trotting through the snowy trails and realize there is no better place to be. It's a true blessing to spend time with my best friends in the beautiful wild, with them leading the way with smiles on their faces.

But, making ends meet to race in the Iditarod takes more than the three jobs I work. This only covers my personal living expenses, meanwhile running and training the team is a full time job.
